Mangrove Jacks-a great adventure on the water!
A great way to see a beautiful part of Fiji. Either by Kayak Boat or both. Check with Jacobus as to the best time to come for the tidal input. He had a comprehensive knowledge of the area. Fiji legend says that the Island on the lake is man-made as a way to keep their chief safe from rival tribes.
Cut the engines and you could hear the birdsong. Locals were fishing on the river so bring your fishing gear!
We saw bats on Bat Island that was at the mouth of the river and then went through the reef to the Ocean.
A most enjoyable, relaxing experience.
